Unlocking Wellness with Lymphatic Drainage

Updated: 7 days ago

March is an important month to raise awareness about lymphatic drainage and how your lympatic system affects your health. This system of microtubules, helps to remove toxins, excess fluids and wastes from your body. When lymphatic fluid flow is disrupted (due to an injury, surgery, cancer treatments, or for unknown reasons), it can lead to swelling (edema) and other health concerns.

When the system doesn't properly drain, harmful substances like toxins, dead cells, excess fats and preservatives aren't efficiently cleared. Lymphatic drainage therapy, a gentle, skilled technique, stimulates lymph nodes and encourages proper fluid flow. It helps your body to restore balance and increases the efficiency of your detoxification process.

The good news is that most swelling (80-85%) is superficial. With the right approach, it can be quickly addressed before it becomes a long-term issue. When left untreated, fluid can get trapped in tissues and create permanent damage due to fibrotic tissues being laid down. With lymphatic drainage, fluid flow can be corrected and you can prevent chronic pitting edema (when an impression remains in the skin, after it's pushed).

As a trained professional with over 20 years of experience, I've helped many people (after surgeries, accidents, cancer treatments, and those with drainage issues with unknown causes) restore healthy lymphatic flow. I'm trained in science based techniques that were developed by Dr. Bruno Chikly, MD of the Upledger Institute. I re-route lymphatic fluid to their proper, healthy lymph nodes. This provides relief, relaxation and an overall sense of well-being.

Many people significantly de-stress and feel a sense of calm, peace and revitalization after a session. It's not uncommon to feel renewed energy, more lively or a pleasant tingling sensation as the body restores its balance.

If you're experiencing swelling, have had a recent surgery, wish to detoxify your system or just want to experience the benefits of lymphatic drainage, I'd love to help. For the month of March, I'm offering $50 off your first session. Please feel free to reach out today, at 858-304-0247, to schedule an appointment in my peaceful Rancho Bernardo Office. Take another step towards prioritizing your health and feeling your best.
